Fox Clinic GP and Nurse Practitioner (NP) days are highlighted on the roster so you can quickly find them. You will find a monthly roster on the clinic window and door also.
The Rural Nurses at Fox and Franz clinic are on call for emergencies, and for people needing medical assistance after hours including weekends and Public Holidays as per the roster published.
We are contactable via the 0800 794 325 number, but if this is not working for you at the time, there is another option now: Ka Ora Telecare is an alternative if you find your call is not being answered after hours.
Ka Ora Telecare’s rural after-hours service is an extension of your local medical centre, where you can access a same-day phone or video consultation with Ka Ora’s Telehealth team.
You can be connected to medical care quickly through a phone, tablet or laptop. The charges are the same as your local Clinic. There is a lot of flu about – if you haven’t had a chance to have a flu vaccine it is not too late. Whooping Cough (Pertussis) vaccines are available at Fox Clinic for adults and kids who are not currently vaccinated.
