Meet Maggie:
Local resident Maggie McCulloch has been engaged by Westland District Council as a Welcoming Communities coordinator in the southern part of Westland District.
This is an MBIE funded, part-time, fixed term position. The objective of the role is to equip the community and businesses with resources to make newcomers to our region feel welcome and to assist newcomers settle into their new homes.
Newcomers could be people from overseas or kiwi’s relocating to Westland.
